Autobahn Warranty

6 YEARS / UNLIMITED MILES – Parts & Labor Fully Covered

When we repair your vehicle, we stand behind the work for six years, with no mileage cap. It’s a commitment we can make because we use the right parts, the right fluids, and proven procedures. This warranty took effect on January 1, 2026.

In return, we ask that you keep your vehicle on its service schedule and hold onto your receipts. Follow the simple guidelines below and your coverage stays in force for the full term.

What’s Covered

  • Parts and labor on qualifying repairs and components we install, for 6 years / unlimited miles from the repair date.
  • If a covered part fails due to a defect or workmanship, we make it right at no charge: part and associated labor.
  • Coverage applies per repair, dated from the day that work is completed, and is honored at Autobahn Auto Center.

Keeping Your Warranty Active

Your coverage stays valid as long as your vehicle stays on its maintenance schedule. Specifically:

  • Service every 7,500 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. More frequent service is the single best protection for a European or luxury vehicle, and it’s what keeps your warranty in force.
  • Keep the vehicle on the recommended service schedule. Service with us and it’s logged automatically. If a service is done elsewhere, keep the receipt and send it to us so your history stays complete and your coverage stays in force.
  • Stay current on the maintenance that protects your repair. When we repair a system, you keep its coverage by keeping up that system’s service on time (oil changes for engine repairs, fluid service for transmission or driveline repairs, coolant service for cooling-system repairs, and so on).
  • Address related worn parts. A worn component transfers stress to the parts we repaired and causes premature wear. If a related part in the same system later wears out, it must be corrected to keep that repair’s coverage in force. For example, if we install control arms and the shocks later fail, the shocks must be addressed to keep the control-arm coverage.
  • Don’t ignore warnings. Bring the vehicle in promptly for warning lights, leaks, overheating, or unusual noises.

Battery Warranty: 4 Years / Unlimited Miles

  • 4-year / unlimited-mile coverage on batteries we supply and install, against defect and failure.
  • Conditioned on a healthy electrical system. A battery killed by another component, such as a failing alternator or a parasitic draw from a faulty module, is not a battery defect and isn’t covered. We’ll diagnose and show you the true cause.

Warranty Details and Exclusions

  • Normal wear items: brake pads and rotors, wiper blades, tires, light bulbs, filters, belts (unless a covered defect), clutch friction materials.
  • Customer-supplied parts, or parts sourced outside Autobahn.
  • Abuse, neglect, or accident: collision damage, continued driving on a known fault, overheating from ignored warnings.
  • Incorrect or contaminated fluids, or maintenance not kept on schedule.
  • Racing, track, off-road, or competition use.
  • Aftermarket modifications, tuning or ECU flashing, or alterations affecting the covered system.
  • Environmental and outside causes: flood, storm, fire, corrosion, rodent or animal damage.
  • Pre-existing conditions and failures unrelated to the work we performed.
  • Repairs or tampering by another shop on a covered component.

  • Contact us first. Call and bring the vehicle to Autobahn before authorizing any outside repair. Unauthorized outside work isn’t covered.
  • Verified by the shop. Any warranty concern is confirmed by us before repair so we treat the actual cause, not a symptom.
  • We catch it early, too. Your yearly service includes a full inspection of the whole vehicle, so if something is developing we’ll flag it between your regular services.
  • We have your history. Because your maintenance records are on file with us, the repair is handled at no charge for the covered part and labor.

Both the 6-year repair warranty and the 4-year battery warranty transfer to a subsequent private owner for the balance of the term, a real selling point at resale.

To activate the transfer, the new owner must bring the vehicle to Autobahn within 45 days of the sale date for an inspection and to be registered in our system. The service history carries over once registered.

This is a limited repair warranty covering specific repairs and parts performed by Autobahn Auto Center. It is not a manufacturer warranty, an extended service contract, or bumper-to-bumper coverage, and it does not cover the entire vehicle. Coverage is contingent on the maintenance requirements described above. Autobahn Auto Center reserves the right to inspect the vehicle and review service records before approving a claim.
