BMW Repair in Boca Raton, FL
Factory-level diagnostics and factory-grade parts, backed by a 6-year, unlimited-mile warranty. Without the dealership markup.
Boca Raton's go-to for BMW care
A BMW asks for more than a generic oil change and a code reader. It asks for the right fluids, the right torque specs, and someone who has seen the same fault on the same chassis before.
That is what we do all day. Our technicians are ASE-certified and work on European cars exclusively, using the same factory-level scan tools the dealership uses, so a fault gets traced to its actual cause the first time.
Maintaining your ultimate driving machine
Staying on schedule is the cheapest thing you will ever do for a BMW. We follow the factory maintenance intervals, use approved fluids and filters, and log every visit so your service history stays complete, which matters both for your warranty with us and for the car's value when you sell it.
Restoring your BMW to peak performance
When something has already gone wrong, you get a full digital inspection with photographs of what we found, a written estimate that separates parts from labor, and a plain-English explanation of what needs doing now versus what can wait. Nothing gets touched until you approve it.

Common BMW problems we repair
- Oil leaks from the valve cover gasket and oil filter housing, the classic high-mileage BMW complaint.
- Cooling system failures: water pumps, thermostats, expansion tanks and plastic housings that get brittle in Florida heat.
- Check-engine lights from VANOS, timing components, or ignition coils, traced with factory tools to the module or component actually at fault.
- Suspension wear: control arm bushings and struts that turn crisp steering vague.
- Electrical faults and parasitic battery drains traced to the actual module causing them.
- Transmission service for ZF automatics, including fluid and pan work that BMW calls lifetime and rarely is.
What a BMW service actually asks for.
Most of what goes wrong with these cars is not exotic. It is a shop treating a BMW like a generic car, using what is on the shelf, and finishing the job at the point where the wrench goes down.
Fluids are specified, not chosen
BMW does not sell oil, it specifies it. LL-01 on the older naturally aspirated sixes, LL-17 FE+ on the current B-series, and the two are not interchangeable. The gearbox is stricter still: a ZF 8HP takes Lifeguard 8 and only Lifeguard 8, filled at a set fluid temperature, because the level is read by temperature and not off a dipstick. Fill it warm and it shifts beautifully for about a month.
“Lifetime fill” means the life of the warranty
BMW calls the 8HP sealed for life. In practice that is the life of the warranty, not the life of the car, so we service them somewhere between sixty and eighty thousand miles. Pan down, integrated filter out, and a look at the magnets while it is open. A clean magnet and a furry one tell two very different stories about the next twenty thousand miles.
Half the job happens after the wrench is down
A gearbox that has been drained has to relearn its shift points, and that is an adaptation reset, not a road test. A replacement battery has to be registered to the IBS or the car keeps charging it on the old profile and cooks it inside a year. Injectors are coded to the DME by index. Skip any of it and the car still runs, just not the way it should and not for as long as it should.
We find the leak before we quote the gasket
From above, a valve cover leak and an oil filter housing leak look identical, and plenty of shops quote both. We degrease it, add dye, drive it, and look again. That costs us an hour and saves you a gasket you never needed.
What you’re paying for, line by line
The parts of a BMW service that never appear on an invoice are the ones that decide how the car drives in two years.
LL-01, LL-04 or LL-17 FE+, chosen by engine family
ISTA, the same factory software the dealer runs
Serviced at 60–80k on Lifeguard 8, filled at factory ATF temperature
Registered to the IBS so the charging profile matches the new battery
Coded to the DME by index on the engines that need it
Dye, drive, re-inspect, then quote the one that is actually leaking
Itemized in writing, parts and labor separated, approved line by line
Six years, unlimited miles, and it transfers if you sell the car
From drop-off to drive-out
Five steps, and you know what you are getting at the end of each one.
Book it, or just drop it off
Call, text, or book online. After-hours drop-off if that suits you better, and a free local shuttle so you are not sitting here waiting on us.
We read the car, not the symptom
ISTA on the car’s own modules for stored and shadow faults, plus a full digital inspection. You get photographs of anything we find, not a description of it.
You get it in writing first
An itemized estimate with parts and labor separated, and what can wait flagged separately from what cannot. Nothing is touched until you approve it.
The work, to BMW’s procedure
Specified fluids, OE or OE-equivalent parts, factory torque sequences, and the codings and adaptation resets that actually finish the job.
Six years, unlimited miles
Qualifying repairs carry our parts and labor warranty, it transfers if you sell the car, and every visit is logged so the service history stays intact.
What it costs
BMW repair prices move with the chassis more than most people expect. A valve cover gasket on an N52 and the same job on an N63 are not in the same bracket, because the access, the parts and the hours are all different. Publishing one number would mean publishing a number that is wrong for most cars.
So we quote the car in front of us: a full digital inspection with photographs of anything we find, then an itemized estimate with parts and labor separated, before anything is touched. Against a dealer quote for the same OEM-spec parts, most owners are surprised in the right direction.
Every BMW repair backed for 6 years / unlimited miles
Parts and labor, on every qualifying repair, and it transfers to the next owner if you sell the car.
BMW repair FAQs
No. Federal law protects your right to have your car serviced anywhere, as long as the work is done correctly and to specification. We use approved parts and fluids and document every service, so your factory coverage stays intact and you have the records to prove it.
Yes. We use genuine BMW or OE-equivalent parts from the same manufacturers that supply the factory. If there is a reason to consider an alternative on a particular repair, we will explain the trade-off and let you decide rather than making that call for you.
Every 7,500 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first. BMW's own intervals run longer, but in South Florida heat and stop-start traffic, shorter intervals are the single best protection for the engine, and staying on that schedule is also what keeps your warranty with us in force.
Yes to both. We run a local shuttle so you are not stranded while your car is with us, and there is an after-hours drop-off if your schedule does not line up with ours. Mention it when you book and we will have it ready.
Meaningfully less, on the same parts and the same diagnostics, because you are not paying for a dealership's overhead. You get a written estimate with parts and labor separated before any work starts, so you can compare it against a dealer quote line by line.
