Frequently Asked Questions

Autobahn Auto Center backs its repairs with a 6-year, unlimited-mile limited warranty on parts and labor for qualifying repairs and the components we install. If a covered part fails due to a defect or our workmanship, we make it right at no charge for the part and the associated labor.

Six years from the date of each repair, with no mileage cap. Coverage applies per repair, dated from the day that work is completed, and is honored at Autobahn Auto Center.

No. The warranty is six years with unlimited miles, so you are covered no matter how much you drive.

Keep your vehicle on its maintenance schedule: service every 7,500 miles or 12 months, whichever comes first, and stay current on the maintenance that protects each repair. Service with us and it is logged automatically. If a service is done elsewhere, keep the receipt and send it to us so your history stays complete and your coverage stays in force.

Contact us first and bring the vehicle to Autobahn before authorizing any outside repair, since unauthorized outside work is not covered. We confirm the concern before repair so we treat the actual cause, not a symptom. Because your maintenance records are on file with us, the covered part and labor are handled at no charge.

Yes. Batteries we supply and install carry a 4-year, unlimited-mile warranty against defect and failure, as long as the rest of the electrical system is sound. A battery drained by another component, such as a failing alternator or a parasitic draw from a faulty module, is not a battery defect and is not covered. We will diagnose and show you the true cause.

Normal wear items such as brake pads, rotors, tires, wiper blades, filters, and belts; customer-supplied parts; abuse, neglect, or accident damage; incorrect or contaminated fluids; racing, track, or off-road use; aftermarket modifications and tuning; environmental damage such as flood, fire, or corrosion; pre-existing conditions; and repairs or tampering by another shop on a covered component.

Yes. Both the 6-year repair warranty and the 4-year battery warranty transfer to a subsequent private owner for the balance of the term, which is a real selling point at resale. To activate the transfer, the new owner must bring the vehicle to Autobahn within 45 days of the sale date for an inspection and to be registered in our system. The service history carries over once registered.

Your vehicle qualifies as long as the repair was performed at Autobahn Auto Center, involved new parts and proper installation, and the coverage has been kept active through the maintenance requirements above. Keep your original repair invoice as proof.
